Glycerin and witch hazel topical (for the skin) is a combination medicine used to relieve discomfort, burning, and irritation caused by hemorrhoids. glycerin and witch hazel topical will not treat or cure a hemorrhoid, it will only relieve the symptoms.

How should I take Glycerin and witch hazel topical
Use exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor.

It is best to use this medication after using the bathroom or having a bowel movement.
Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve, or if they get worse within 7 days.
Store at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
Dosing information
Usual Adult Dose for Hemorrhoids:
Gently apply to the affected area by patting and then discard. Can be used up to 6 times per day or after each bowel movement.
Usual Pediatric Dose for Hemorrhoids:
12 years or older:
Gently apply to the affected area by patting and then discard. Can be used up to 6 times per day or after each bowel movement.
Before Taking
You should not use glycerin and witch hazel topical if you are allergic to glycerin or witch hazel.
Ask a doctor before using this medicine if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not give this medicine to a child younger than 12 years old without medical advice.
What happens if I miss a dose?
Since glycerin and witch hazel topical is used when needed, you may not be on a dosing schedule. Skip any missed dose if it's almost time for your next dose. Do not use two doses at one time.

Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
