At bedtime, squeeze a pea-sized amount of medication into one fingertip, dot it onto the chin, cheeks, nose, and forehead, and then gently rub over the entire face.
Comments: Avoid the eyes, lips, and mucous membranes. This medication is not for oral, ophthalmic, intranasal or intravaginal use.
Use: Topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients 12 years or older.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or history of antibiotic-associated colitis

Administration advice:
- Advice patients to gently washed the face with a mild soap and warm water at bedtime.
- Advice patients to apply medication as a thin layer over the entire face (excluding the eyes and lips after patting the skin dry.
- After the application the patient should wash hands.
Patient advice:
- Read the US FDA-approved patient labeling (Patient Information and Instructions for Use).
- Advise patient to apply a sunscreen every morning and to reapply over the course of the day as needed.
- Advise patients to avoid exposure to sunlight, sunlamp, ultraviolet light, and other medicines that may increase sensitivity to sunlight.
