Usual Adult Dose for Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca
1 drop 2 times a day in each eye approximately 12 hours apart
Comments:
- This drug can be used concomitantly with artificial tears, allowing a 15 minute interval between products.
Use: To increase tear production in patients whose tear production is presumed to be suppressed due to ocular inflammation associated with keratoconjunctivitis sicca

Administration advice:
- Patients should be instructed to wash their hands before instilling this drug.
- The unit dose vial should be inverted a few times to obtain a uniform, white, opaque emulsion before using.
- The vial should be discarded immediately after use.
Patient advice:
- Patients should be instructed to use nasolacrimal occlusion and to close the eyelids for 2 minutes after instillation.
Storage requirements:
- Do not freeze.
- Protect from light
