0.5% solution:

• Days 1 and 2: Instill 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 2 hours while awake, up to 8 times a day.
• Days 3 through 7: Instill 1 to 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 4 hours while awake, up to 4 times a day.

Use: For the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis caused by susceptible strains of Corynebacterium species, Staphylococcus aureus, S epidermidis, Streptococcus pneumonia, Streptococcus (groups C/F), Streptococcus (group G), viridans group streptococci, Acinetobacter lwoffii, Haemophilus influenzae, Serratia marcescens

Patient advice:

• Do not wear contact lenses if you have signs/symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis or corneal ulcers.
• Avoid contaminating the applicator tip with material from the eye, fingers, or any other source.
• Stop this drug and seek medical attention immediately at the first sign of a rash or allergic reaction.
