Administration advice:
Laminated tubes should be kept tightly closed when not in use.
Pump bottles should be primed before the first use; the actuator should be depressed until cream is dispensed, then pumped 3 times. Any cream dispensed during priming should be discarded.
This drug is for topical use only, and should be used with caution around mucous membranes and disrupted skin (e.g., irritation, open wounds).
General:
Limitation of use: Oral, ophthalmic, and intravaginal use should be avoided.
Patient advice:
Patients should be reminded to wash their hands after application of a dose.
Patients with cardiovascular disease should be instructed to seek immediate medical attention if their condition worsens.
Patients with worsening vascular insufficiency and/or those who develop signs/symptoms of insufficiency should be instructed to seek immediate medical attention.
Patients who develop signs/symptoms of angle closure glaucoma should seek immediate medical attention.
