Beremagene geperpavec topical (for the skin) is used to treat wounds caused by a certain type of dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa in people at least 6 months old.
Your doctor will make sure you have the correct type to be treated with beremagene geperpavec topical.

It is not known if beremagene geperpavec topical will harm an unborn baby. Use birth control during treatment with this medicine and tell your doctor if you become pregnant.

How should I use Beremagene Geperpavec Topical
Use Beremagene Geperpavec Topical (Topical) exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
Your doctor will perform medical tests before starting treatment with beremagene geperpavec topical to make sure is the right treatment for you.
Beremagene geperpavec topical is applied once a week. A healthcare provider will apply this medicine.
Your doctor will determine how many treatments you needed. Make sure to follow up with your doctor about changing and caring for dressings on treated wounds.
You will receive this medicine in a clinic or home setting. It may not be possible to apply the medicine to all wounds with each treatment.
Call your doctor for instructions if you miss an appointment to receive beremagene geperpavec topical.
Beremagene Geperpavec Topical side effects
Get emergency medical help if you have signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficult breathing, swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Common side effects may include:
- itching;
- chills;
- redness, rash; or
- cough, runny nose.

What other drugs will affect Beremagene Geperpavec Topical?
Do not touch treated wounds and dressings for 24 hours after treatment.
Avoid letting wounds treated with this medicine come in contact with untreated areas or other people. Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes if accidental exposure occurs.
