Bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus has been used as a probiotic, or "friendly bacteria," to prevent the growth of harmful bacteria in the stomach and intestines.

Bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus is likely effective in alternative medicine as an aid in treating upset stomach in babies (0 to 12 months).

It is not certain whether bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus is effective in treating any medical condition. Medicinal use of this product has not been approved by the FDA. Bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus should not be used in place of medication prescribed by the doctor.

Bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus is often sold as an herbal supplement. Before administering the product to the baby, shake the bottle and use 5 drops once per day. Pour bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus into a bottle, or directly into baby's mouth while breastfeeding.

Call the doctor if the condition you are treating with bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus does not improve, or if it gets worse while using this product.

Once opened, use bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus within 60 days.

Store at room temperature away from moisture, heat, and light.

Before using bifidobacterium animalis and lactobacillus rhamnosus, talk to the healthcare provider. Your child may not be able to use this product if your child has certain medical conditions.

Do not give any herbal/health supplement to a child without medical advice.

Skip the missed dose and take the next regularly scheduled dose.
