You should not use salicylic acid and sodium thiosulfate topical if you are allergic to sulfa drugs.
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking salicylic acid/sodium thiosulfate topical: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
