What is it?
Maltodextrin is a food additive used in the production of candy, soft drinks, and beer. Maltodextrin is easily digestible and is slightly sweet. Maltodextrin is commonly produced from corn or wheat. It may laso be used as a filler in sugar substitutes such as sucralose or aspartame.
