What is it?
Sodium caseinate, also known as casein, is a protein found in human and animal milk. It is used in cheese making. Casein in milk and milk products has been a major component of the diet of man for centuries. People with milk allergies may have allergies to casein. Casein has also been used in paper and paperboard products for food packaging.[1]
