My name is Elisabeta Martin, After having a cortisone injection in right hip I had 6 days, and 6 nights of severe burning in my right leg. The burning was so bad I was unable to stand or to walk. The burning was so bad I almost passed out. It felt the same as it would feel if your foot was in a furnace. After the sixth day there was so much burning my body could not take anymore and I knew I was about to die. Then I was about to go to the ER and the burning finally started to slow down. I went for physical therapy for 5 months. It helped a lot, but even now I still have burning numbness and sensitivity in my right leg, and toes. The burning numbness and sensitivity is there all of the time sometimes but the intensity varies. Is there something that can be done to get the burning numbness and sensitivity to stop forever. It is very painful to have all of this.
I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you.
After cortisone injection I have burning sensitivity and numbness. Is there a way to stop this?
