Anyone tried Accord clonazepam?

Posted on 13-Jul-2023 - Last updated: 13-Jul-2023

Hi all,

I got my script from my doc yesterday for 1mg clonazepam after previously being on 0.5mg. I filled the 0.5mg at Walgreens and got the Mylan yellow ones, which were ok, but I wanted to try another pharmacy to see if I could get the Teva generic (we don't have CVS where I live). The mylan 0.5s worked just as they were supposed to in my opinion, so no complaints there, but I had noticed extreme incompetence in the 1mg Mylan clonazepam last time I was prescribed them.

So I went to a Sav-On pharmacy and they filled my 1mg script with the "Accord Health Care" generics. They're blue pills with a C 1 on one side and blank on the other, with NO score... which bothers me because my doc's intersections say 1/2 to 1 pill twice a day... and its hard to break a pill evenly with no score sometimes, especially when I don't have a pill cutter handy.

IMO, all generics are pretty much the same and the fact that the FDA makes sure they're tested for dosage and bioavailabilty and metabolism being the same of the brand name, I have no worries buying generic. But I've never seen these before and their website looks sketchy as hell. It makes me wonder if they're a super new pharm company that's lured some pharmacies into buying their generic clonazepam (one of the apparently three drugs they even make... again sketchy) because it's cheap.

I just want to make sure I'm getting my proper dose and that the medication is able to achieve the effect intended by my doctor. Has anyone else tried these Accord clonazepam pills? What do you think?
