After having the IUD for 2.5 years after the birth of my daughter, I started having chronic back pain only on my right side... So I called my ob/gyn...
I had to have a hysteroscopy to have my IUD removed, it had turned sideways causing my back pain. I want to conceive again. It has been about two months since the removal.
I was told the other day that the downfall of having the Mirena is that you can conceive but cannot carry.
Is there any truth in this? Has anyone had the Mirena, had it removed, and conceived and carried a full term pregnancy?
