I was diagnosed in 2015 and entered the tail end of the clinical trial drug for what became Empliciti. It is a second line drug that is paired with a protease inhibitor. I had no problem tolerating Empliciti. The other drugs worked well but i could not tolerate the side effects. Revlimid,Ninlaro,velcade,Cytoxan and kyprolis all had to be stopped.My oncologist decided to just use Empliciti. This worked by itself for 3 years and was great.
Sorry to say but it has run its course and am going try Darzalex. Has anyone used this as a single agent successfully. I am not looking forward to go back on the drug merry go round. Which other drugs are being coupled with your darzalex?
