Greetings to everyone. I am on escitalopram (Cipralex) for a year now to treat panic disorder. It was hard to introduce it and it's hard to increase the dosage intake. I started with 5mg for four weeks, stayed in 10mg for about eight months, been on 15mg for two and a half months and now I increased to 20mg. In every single episode of dosage increase I had the classical sympthoms immediatly that would last from one to four weeks. Now, with 20mg I was feeling great but, after eight days I started to feel down, tired, lightheaded, nauseated sometimes, have diahrrea and so on. My question is: is it normal for the sympthoms after a dosage increase appear after a week of starting it??

My psychiatrist told me to wait, but I feel sinking. This is the seventh day of sympthoms and for the first time in about 6 months I felt fear, loss of control.
