The dosage of Proxalin-Plus varies based on the condition being treated. For example:
- A typical starting dose (given in milligrams of naproxen) for adults with osteoarthritis is 250 mg to 500 mg or 275 mg to 550 mg orally twice a day.
- For pain due to menstrual cramps, a typical starting dose for adults (in milligrams of naproxen) is 550 mg orally once, followed by 550 mg every 12 hours, or 250 mg to 275 mg every 6 to 8 hours as needed.
