Serious side effects of Oxiconazole topical
Along with its needed effects, oxiconazole topical may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur while taking oxiconazole topical:
Less common
- Burning
- itching
Rare
- Blistering, crusting, dryness, or flaking of skin
- scaling
- severe redness, soreness, or swelling of skin
- burning, itching, and pain in hairy areas
- pus at root of hair
- skin irritation
Other side effects of Oxiconazole topical
Some side effects of oxiconazole topical may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects.

-Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Irritation, allergic contact dermatitis, folliculitis, erythema, papules, fissure, maceration, rash
Lotion:
-Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Burning, pruritus, scaling, dyshidrotic eczema[Ref]
Other
Cream:
-Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Stinging, nodules
Lotion:
-Uncommon (0.1% to 1%): Stinging, pain[Ref]
