Uses of Clarinex-D 12 Hour:

  • It is used to treat nose stuffiness.
  • It is used to ease allergy signs.

What do I need to tell my doctor BEFORE I take Clarinex-D 12 Hour?

  • If you have an allergy to desloratadine, loratadine, pseudoephedrine, or any other part of Clarinex-D 12 Hour (desloratadine and pseudoephedrine).
  • If you are allergic to Clarinex-D 12 Hour (desloratadine and pseudoephedrine); any part of Clarinex-D 12 Hour (desloratadine and pseudoephedrine); or any other drugs, foods, or substances. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had.
  • If you have any of these health problems: Glaucoma, heart disease, high blood pressure, or trouble passing urine.
  • If you have any of these health problems: Kidney disease or liver disease.
  • If you have taken certain drugs for depression or Parkinson's disease in the last 14 days. This includes isocarboxazid, phenelzine, tranylcypromine, selegiline, or rasagiline. Very high blood pressure may happen.
  • If you are taking any of these drugs: Linezolid or methylene blue.
  • If you are breast-feeding or plan to breast-feed.

  • Avoid driving and doing other tasks or actions that call for you to be alert until you see how Clarinex-D 12 Hour (desloratadine and pseudoephedrine) affects you.
  • Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Clarinex-D 12 Hour (desloratadine and pseudoephedrine).
  • Talk with your doctor before you drink alcohol or use other drugs and natural products that slow your actions.
