Growth Hormone Reserve Test is a test used if a growth hormone deficiency is suspected. Hypoglycaemia is a potent stimulus of growth hormone (GH). This test measures GH reserve by inducing hypoglycaemia using intravenous insulin. GH levels are measured every 15–30 minutes for two hours.
