Warning
Oral route (Tablet)
When pregnancy is detected, discontinue telmisartan/amlodipine as soon as possible. Drugs that act directly on the renin-angiotensin system can cause injury and death to the developing fetus.
Serious side effects
Along with its needed effects, amlodipine / telmisartan may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
