Applies to chlophedianol / phenylephrine / pyrilamine: oral liquid.
Do not use this medicine if you have used an MAO inhibitor in the past 14 days. A dangerous drug interaction could occur. MAO inhibitors include isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue injection, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine, and others.
Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction while taking chlophedianol / phenylephrine / pyrilamine: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Stop using this medicine and call your doctor at once if you have:

chests tightness, wheezing, shortness of breath;

severe drowsiness;
-
a light-headed feeling, like you might pass out;
-
little or no urinating;
-
severe dizziness or anxiety; or
-
severe restless feeling or being unable to sleep.
Common side effects may include:

mild dizziness or drowsiness;
-
dry mouth, nose, or throat;
-
diarrhea, constipation, upset stomach;
-
feeling restless or excited (especially in children);
-
blurred vision; or
-
sleep problems (insomnia).
