Serious side effects of Colestipol

Along with its needed effects, colestipol may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

• stomach pain (severe) with nausea and vomiting

Common (1% to 10%): Hematochezia, hemorrhoid hemorrhage, abdominal distention, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence
