Drug Class: Ophthalmic glaucoma agents
Usual Adult Dose for Intraocular Hypertension
One drop in the affected eye(s) three times a day
Comments:
- If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, the drugs should be administered at least 10 minutes apart.
Use: Treatment of elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma
Usual Adult Dose for Glaucoma (Open Angle)
One drop in the affected eye(s) three times a day

- If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, the drugs should be administered at least 10 minutes apart.

Patient advice:
- To minimize systemic absorption, pressure should be applied to the tear duct for two minutes immediately after administration.
- Patients should be instructed to avoid allowing the tip of the container to contact the eye, eyelid, fingers or any other surface.
Storage requirements:
- Store at 4 C to 30 C (39 F to 86 F)
- Shake well before use.
- Discard container 4 weeks after opening.
