Precautions

• The safety and efficacy of the nasal spray for treatment of the symptoms of perennial allergic rhinitis in patients younger than 12 years and for seasonal allergic rhinitis in patients younger than 6 years have not been established.
• The safety and efficacy of the nasal metered aerosol for treatment of the symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in patients younger than 12 years have not been established.

Administration advice:

• This drug should be administered by intranasal route only.
• Spray: Gently shake prior to use and prime the pump by actuating eight times. If the spray is not used for four consecutive days, it should be gently shaken and reprimed with one spray or until a fine mist appears.
• Metered aerosol: Prior to initial use or if not used for ten consecutive days, the container should be primed by actuating three times.
