Usual Adult Dose for Glaucoma

• Usual dose: 0.2 mg applied with saturated sponges (provided in the kit) equally to the treatment area with surgical forceps
• Duration of therapy: 2 minutes

• This drug should not be administered intraocularly.
• After 2 minutes, sponges and preparation materials should be discarded in a chemotherapy waste bag.

Administration advice:

• Sponges should be fully saturated with the entire amount prior to application, and should be arranged in a single layer on the treatment area.
• Forceps may be used to hold the sponges to the treatment area.

• Protect from light.
• Reconstituted product may be stored at room temperature for up to 1 hour.

• This drug should be reconstituted with 1 mL of sterile water for injection, then the vial should be shaken to dissolve.
• If dissolution does not occur immediately, the vial should be allow to stand at room temperature until dissolution occurs.

• Advise patients to speak to their healthcare provider if they become pregnant, intend to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding.
• Patients should be cautioned of the potential for complications associated with toxicity from this drug.
