Administration advice:
- For vaginal use only
- Insert entire contents of applicator into the vagina at bedtime.
Storage requirements:
- Store at 20C to 25C (68F to 77F).
General:
- This drug is an over-the-counter preparation for self-medication of recurrent vaginal candidiasis in otherwise healthy nonpregnant females previously diagnosed by a clinician.
- This drug is a 1-dose treatment. Most women do not experience complete relief of their symptoms in just 1 day; however, most experience some relief within 1 day and complete relief within 7 days.
Patient advice:
- Before using this drug, read the enclosed brochure and instructions on printed packet for complete directions and information.
- Do not use if you have never had a vaginal yeast infection diagnosed by a physician.
- When using this drug, do not have vaginal intercourse and do not use tampons, douches, spermicides, or other vaginal products.
- Consult physician if symptoms of vulvovaginal candidiasis do not improve within 3 days, persist for more than 7 days, or recur within 2 months.
- Discontinue this drug and contact physician if a rash or hives, abdominal pain, fever, chills, nausea, vomiting, or foul-smelling vaginal discharge develops.
