Administration advice:
- Do not administer IV.
- The deltoid is typically used for adults, and the deltoid or anterolateral thigh for children.
- Do not administer in the gluteal area or where there may be a nerve trunk.
- Administer at least 2 weeks prior to expected exposure.
- Record the date, lot number, and manufacturer of the vaccine administered.
