Hi Folks
Hope your all well.
I started lexapro Jan 2021 and was on 20mg which worked great for my anxiety which I never had before ( I'm in my 50's ).
Gradually when off it July 2022 as I thought I would be OK but decided to go back on 20mg gradually again in September 2022 as anxiety started to reappear.Lexapro worked again.
Gradually went off it again in January 2023 but I had to go back on it June 2023 due to feeling very low .
I am on lexapro for 9 weeks now , 5 weeks of them on 20mg and still not feeling as good as I did first time I used the medication.
Has anyone being in my situation and in your opinion will lexapro take longer to work again by going off and on it like I did 3 times over 2 years.
I intend staying on them this time for good.
Thanks for any assistance.
Why is 20mg Lexapro taking longer to work this time?
