• If you have an allergy to fexofenadine, pseudoephedrine, or any other part of Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine).
• If you are allergic to Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine); any part of Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine); or any other drugs, foods, or substances. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had.
• If you have trouble swallowing.
• If you have taken certain drugs for depression or Parkinson's disease in the last 14 days. This includes isocarboxazid, phenelzine, tranylcypromine, selegiline, or rasagiline. Very high blood pressure may happen.
• If you are taking any of these drugs: Linezolid or methylene blue.

• Talk with your doctor before you use other drugs and natural products that slow your actions.
• Use with care in children. Talk with the doctor.
• Do not give to a child younger than 12 years of age.
• If you are 65 or older, use Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine) with care. You could have more side effects.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan on getting pregnant, or are breast-feeding. You will need to talk about the benefits and risks to you and the baby.

How is this medicine (Allegra-D 24 Hour) best taken?

Use Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine) as ordered by your doctor. Read all information given to you. Follow all instructions closely.

• Take on an empty stomach.
• Swallow whole. Do not chew, break, or crush.
• Do not take antacids that have magnesium or aluminum at the same time as Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine). Talk with your doctor or pharmacist.
• Avoid taking Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine) with fruit juice.
• You may see the tablet shell in your stool. This is normal and not a cause for concern.

What do I do if I miss a dose?

• If you take Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine) on a regular basis, take a missed dose as soon as you think about it.
• If it is close to the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your normal time.
• Do not take 2 doses at the same time or extra doses.
• Many times Allegra-D 24 Hour (fexofenadine and pseudoephedrine) is taken on an as needed basis. Do not take more often than told by the doctor.

What are some side effects that I need to call my doctor about right away?

WARNING/CAUTION: Even though it may be rare, some people may have very bad and sometimes deadly side effects when taking a drug. Tell your doctor or get medical help right away if you have any of the following signs or symptoms that may be related to a very bad side effect:

• Signs of high blood pressure like very bad headache or dizziness, passing out, or change in eyesight.

• Shortness of breath.
