Sodium bicarbonate is used in the treatment of Diabetic Ketoacidosis; Alkylating Agent Cystitis; Asystole; Hyperkalemia; Hyperuricemia Secondary to Chemotherapy and belongs to the drug classes antacids, minerals and electrolytes, urinary pH modifiers.
