Iplex Pregnancy Warnings
Mecasermin rinfabate has been assigned to pregnancy category C by the FDA. Animal studies have failed to reveal evidence of embryofetal toxicity or teratogenicity. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Mecasermin rinfabate is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.
