Methylcellulose Pregnancy Warnings
Methylcellulose has not been formally assigned to a pregnancy category by the FDA. Animal studies have not been reported. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Methylcellulose is only recommended for use during pregnancy when benefit outweighs risk.
