Hypophosphatasia is a rare genetic disorder that causes low levels of alkaline phosphatase enzymes due to mutations of tissue nonspecific alkaline phosphatase (TNSALP) gene. Symptoms of hypophosphatasia are highly variable and are dependant of the clinical form.
