Stem Cell Transplant Conditioning is a treatment given before stem cell transplant to destroy abnormal blood cells or cancer cells and prepare the patient’s bone marrow to receive the transplant. Conditioning therapy may include chemotherapy, radiation therapy and immunosuppressive therapy.
