Serious side effects of Xacduro
Along with its needed effects, durlobactam / sulbactam may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.
Check with your doctor or nurse immediately if any of the following side effects occur while taking durlobactam / sulbactam:

- Agitation
- black, tarry stools
- bleeding gums
- blood in the urine or stools
- coma
- confusion
- dark urine
- decreased urine
- depression
- dizziness
- dry mouth
- diarrhea
- dizziness
- fainting
- fast, slow, or irregular heartbeat
- headache
- hostility
- increased thirst
- irregular heartbeat
- irritability
- lethargy
- loss of appetite
- mood changes
- muscle pain, cramps, or twitching
- nausea or vomiting
- numbness or tingling in the hands, feet, or lips
- pale skin
- pinpoint red spots on the skin
- rapid weight gain
- seizures
- stomach pain
- stupor
- swelling of the face, ankles, or hands
- trouble breathing
- unusual bleeding or bruising
- unusual tiredness or weakness
- yellow eyes or skin

- Chest tightness
- cough
- difficulty swallowing
- hives, itching, or skin rash
- puffiness or swelling of the eyelids or around the eyes, face, lips, or tongue
Other side effects of Xacduro
Some side effects of durlobactam / sulbactam may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. Also, your health care professional may be able to tell you about ways to prevent or reduce some of these side effects.

- Bleeding, blistering, burning, coldness, discoloration of skin, feeling of pressure, hives, infection, inflammation, itching, lumps, numbness, pain, rash, redness, scarring, soreness, stinging, swelling, tenderness, tingling, ulceration, or warmth at the injection site

The most common adverse reactions were liver test abnormalities, diarrhea, anemia, and hypokalemia.[Ref]
Cardiovascular
Common (1% to 10%): Arrhythmia
Gastrointestinal
Very common (10% or more): Diarrhea (up to 17%)
Common (1% to 10%): Constipation
Frequency not reported: Clostridioides difficile-associated diarrhea
Hematologic
Very common (10% or more): Anemia (up to 13%)
Common (1% to 10%): Thrombocytopenia
Hepatic
Very common (10% or more): Liver test abnormalities (includes abnormal liver function test, abnormal hepatic function, increased transaminases, increased ALT, increased AST; up to 19%)
Hypersensitivity
Frequency not reported: Hypersensitivity, anaphylactic shock
Metabolic
Very common (10% or more): Hypokalemia (up to 12%)
Renal
Common (1% to 10%): Acute renal injury (includes renal impairment, increased blood creatinine, toxic nephropathy, renal failure, acute kidney injury)
