- It is used to treat signs of hemorrhoids or rectal irritation.

- If you have an allergy to pramoxine, zinc oxide, or any other part of pramoxine and zinc oxide rectal cream.
- If you are allergic to pramoxine and zinc oxide rectal cream; any part of pramoxine and zinc oxide rectal cream; or any other drugs, foods, or substances. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had.

Use pramoxine and zinc oxide rectal cream as ordered by your doctor. Read all information given to you. Follow all instructions closely.
- Use rectal cream rectally.
- Do not take pramoxine and zinc oxide rectal cream by mouth. Use on your skin only. Keep out of your mouth, nose, and eyes (may burn).
- Wash hands before and after use.
- Wash affected skin and pat dry.
- Put a thin layer on the affected part.
- Do not put pramoxine and zinc oxide rectal cream into the rectum by using your fingers or any type of applicator. Follow what the doctor has told you to do.

WARNING/CAUTION: Even though it may be rare, some people may have very bad and sometimes deadly side effects when taking a drug. Tell your doctor or get medical help right away if you have any of the following signs or symptoms that may be related to a very bad side effect:
- Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with or without fever; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
- Redness.
- Rectal irritation.
- Swelling.
- Bleeding from rectum or rectal pain.
