Hodgkin lymphoma is a one of the cancers of the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system. Hodgkin lymphoma can be distinguished from other lymphomas as Hodgkin lymphoma has specific large cells called Reed-Sternberg cells.
Common symptoms of Hodgkin lymphoma are swollen lymph nodes (in the neck, under the arm, or the groin area), fever, night sweats and unintentional weight loss.
There are several different subtypes of Hodgkin lymphoma which behave differently and require different types of treatment.
