Usual Adult Dose for Asthma
1 tablet orally three to four times daily
- In severe cases, the dosage may be doubled as needed.
- Adjust dose based on patient response.
Use(s): As a bronchodilator expectorant for treating bronchial asthma and for reversible bronchospasm associated with chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients or related compounds
- Use is not indicated in status asthmaticus, which is a serious medical emergency
- Although the relationship of plasma dyphylline levels and toxicity is unknown, excessive doses may be expected to increase the risk of adverse effects
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 18 years.
