Precautions
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Allergic reaction to other analgesics
Use immediately prior to or after cardiac surgery
Current use of a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or use within 14 days of stopping a MAOI.
Safety and efficacy have not been established in patients younger than 12 years; this drug is not recommended for use in these patients.

Administration advice:
Swallow tablets whole; do not crush or chew.
Take with a full glass of water.
Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.
Patient advice:
Heart attack and stroke risk increase if taking more than directed, or for longer than directed.
Keep out of reach of children.
Patients should talk to their health care provider if they are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding; NSAIDs should not be used at 20 weeks or later in pregnancy unless specifically advised to do so by their health care professional.
