Usual Adult Dose for Prostate Cancer
240 mg orally once a day
Comments:
- Patients should receive a gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) analog concurrently or have had a bilateral orchiectomy.
Uses:
- For the treatment of metastatic castration-sensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC)
- For the treatment of non-metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (nmCRPC)
Renal Dose Adjustments
Mild to moderate renal impairment: No adjustment required.
Severe or end-stage renal impairment: Data not available
Liver Dose Adjustments
Mild (Child-Pugh A) or moderate (Child-Pugh) hepatic impairment: No adjustment recommended.

Dose Adjustments
If a patient experiences a Grade 3 or greater toxicity or an intolerable side effect, hold dosing until symptoms improve to Grade 1 or less or original grade, then resume at the same dose or a reduced dose (180 mg or 120 mg).

Administration advice:
- Swallow tablets whole.
- May be taken with or without food.
- Take at the same time each day.
- If a dose is missed, take the normal dose as soon as possible on the same day and return to normal schedule the following day; extra tablets to make up the missed dose should not be taken.

- Do not discard desiccant.
- Protect from light and moisture.

- Inform your healthcare provider if you develop a rash.
- Immediately contact your healthcare provider if you experience a seizure; engaging in any activity where sudden loss of consciousness could cause serious harm to yourself or others due the risk of seizures.
- This drug can be harmful to a developing fetus; if having sex with female partners of reproductive potential, use effective contraception during treatment and for 3 months after the last dose; use a condom if having sex with a pregnant woman.
- Do not donate sperm during therapy and for 3 months after the last done; this drug may impair male fertility.
