Use Humulin R U-500 KwikPen (insulin regular (U-500) prefilled pens) as ordered by your doctor. Read all information given to you. Follow all instructions closely.
- It is given as a shot into the fatty part of the skin in the upper arm, thigh, buttocks, or stomach area.

- Seizures.
- Slurred speech.
- A burning, numbness, or tingling feeling that is not normal.
- Swelling in the arms or legs.
