GTP-CH Deficiency is a deficiency of the enzyme GTP cyclohydrolase caused by a change (mutatation) in the GTP-CH 1 gene. This can lead to symptoms characterized by a pattern of involuntary muscle contractions (dystonia), tremors, and other uncontrolled movements. It usually responds to levodopa.
